I know its the 13th but yesterday was craziness for me. I spent the weekend in Texas and yesterday at Southwestern taking a tour. It was an incredible weekend but a LONG one but anyways, on to the Thankfulness.
9. My grandmother, Mimi. She is always there for me and loves unconditionally. She was a major force in getting me to Dallas this weekend I will forever be thankful for that. I love you so much, thank you for everything.
10. New Friends. I spent this weekend getting to know some incredible women. So thankful that the Lord placed them in my life.
11. Veterans. For those of you who don’t know, Sunday was Veterans Day. I’m so thankful for my grandfathers who served in WWII and Vietnam. Sunday, I spent a good 45 minutes in cab going to Southwestern and my cab driver talked my ears off and was a Navy Vet. I’m thankful for the ones who have risked their lives to keep me free and safe.
12. This Woman. Steph. I spend the majority of yesterday on a tour of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I had no idea what to expect and enjoyed it but it was a little stressful because I was by myself, 15 hours away from home, knowing NO ONE and stranded on campus without a car. In the midst of everything, I got a simple Facebook Message from Steph just to let me know she was praying for me yesterday and it was very much needed. I’m thankful for her and for the little things like that easily make my day. Thanks, Steph, I don’t think you realize how much I needed that.
“I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.” Psalm 7:17
More Thankfulness coming your way on the 16th!
