November. Thankfulness.

I know I’m early but I decided to four today since I did four last time.

5. My wonderful friend, Hannah. I’m so thankful for this girl. She was there for me when I need her this week and I don’t know what I’d do without her in my life. Thanks for everything, Hannah. I love you.

6. An organization that is my community and the people that are my best friends. University Ministries, UM. UM has made the difference in my Samford career. I went to Shiloh my very first week on campus and have missed two Shiloh’s since that night. Freshmen year in an act of desperation, I contacted the directors of UM’s Step Sing show and got a spot on the first day of class of the spring semester and have been blessed to be part of the Step Sing community for 4 years, well, in a couple months. Junior and Senior year I have had the privilege of serving on the Communications Committee and doing Bulletin Boards and running the Facebook page. I’m so thankful for such a great community and an incredible place to get plugged into the Samford world.

Step Sing 2011 (Harry Potter)

Alison and Ashley. My fabulous Bible Study leaders for 2 & 3 years respectively thanks to UM.

I could keep posting UM pictures all day but I don’t think you want to look at that many.

7. This girl. A new friend. One that I met through Jackie/Preview Day. Wednesdays are our day and we enjoying getting to know each other. Sam is a freshman JMC major from Houston and I’m loving our budding friendship.

There isn’t a picture of us together yet but this is her favorite senior picture.

8. This Family. The Bailey’s. They moved back to New Orleans TODAY. Jonathan is the new youth minister at First Baptist New Orleans and I could not be more excited for them. Tiffany has been our college assistant for the past two and half years and was one of the people that I worked closely with this summer. We have had many conversations about seminary and I can’t wait to go visit them and look at NOBTS. Thanks so much for everything, I love you guys, praying for y’all.

I’m so thankful for these people this week. “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.” Proverbs 27:6. Thanks for everything. Love y’all.

Check back for more Thankfulness on the 12th!
