25. A Community of support. I’m so blessed to have some incredible women in my life who I know are praying for me and will do anything for me. They are each a mom or an older sister to me some respect. Their prayers have gotten me through the last three and half years of college and I know they will keep praying as the years go on.
26. This Girl. Hayley Catt. I worked as Hayley’s assistant all summer and wouldn’t have changed it for the world. I spent many days sitting in my chair in her office watching her work and when she wasn’t there working on her demon computer. I’m thankful for the friendship that formed and that I am able to be part of her support as Hayley heads to South Africa in January for at least 5 months. Hayley, I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to see what the Lord does through you.

At Motion Night at Highlands a couple ago they had world maps out and I put a heart for Albany and JoBurg for Hayley.
27. This Friend. Cara. Finals Week is fast approaching the semester is coming to an end and I have 9 million things to do before I can go home and my friends know that. Yesterday, in the midst of the insanity, Cara sent me a simple text message to let know that she was praying for me. I’m so thankful for you and your precious heart.
28. This Girl. Rachel. My best friend, who is 20 TODAY. Our relationship started because when she was in 6th grade, I asked to lead a discipleship group with her, Lindsey, and Mary Margaret. We did a Lisa Ryan’s For Such a Time as This and later Angela Thomas’ Wild About You. We talked about boys and laughed A LOT and as we got into high school, the two year age gap seemed to disappear. We started hanging out all the time. Rachel walked with me through some rough times and is always there for me. We still talk about boys and laugh a lot, don’t we, Rach? I’m so incredibly thankful to have you in my life and wish you the very best birthday yet. I love you!
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” Psalm 118:1
One last Thankfulness post coming on the 30th and then I have to decide what do for for December…Thoughts?
